A creator he is no doubt, Shan Tha Mac embodies uniqueness in every aspect of his musical career. He shoots his music videos, records, and makes his own clothing. Once he has a vision, he executes it efficiently. Inspired by music from artists like Michael Jackson and Chris Brown he first started singing then later realized he was lyrically capable of rapping. Free styling is another one of his specialties because he finds the best of his skills to be on the spot, figuring what rap construct is catchy and smooth just by being in front of a mic. This is what makes him authentic.

"It does take a lot of patience. There are a lot of times where I'm like do I want to keep doing this...If it really is your passion and you really want to stick with it just keep doing it, it'll pay off eventually. It's just a lot of hard fucking work. Just be as good as you can even though there's a lot of famous people that ain't good at all but it's about who you know too."
